Research on visual elements of Instagram pictures and the creation of attractive instagrammable spaces for early adopters
In the module Urban Village our team created a research report for Watersportcamping Heeg. The main focus was to analyse what the optimal way was for using Instagram as a company and what the best elements are for focusing on Insta worthy places.

In order to have a clear research goal we created the following problem statement:
How to get early adopters enthusiastic to post an Insta Worthy photo from their Watersportcamping Heeg experience?
We created 3 different research questions in order to fully answer the problem statement.
These research questions focussed on the key visual ellements for an Insta worthy place, what content the target group prefers, and what the client could do to improve their social media accounts and recognizability.
We created 3 models to make it visually easy to explain and understand.
By researching and analyzing different pictures in Instagram which fall in the category of "Insta worthy", we created a check list of all the different aspects a Insta worthy picture can have.
The top 3 key visual elements in a total of 200 pictures were pictures containing nature, natural lighting and some sort of pattern.
These key visual elements were later used to create a recommendation for the client.
