About me
My name is Jasper Fiévez and I am currently in the 4th year of International Leisure and Event management located in Leeuwarden. I was born on 02-11-1998 in Sneek, Friesland. My whole life I have lived in Friesland, and I recently moved to the amazing city Leeuwarden. In my own 'Leisure Time' I like to watch movies, listen to music, play games and 'crack open a couple of cold ones with the boys'.
Leisure and me
I have always had an interest in the leisure industry. In my personal life, I am passionate about music and interested in the world of cinema and film. Moreover, I am very interested in traveling and experiencing the different cultures and people across the world, which is why I decided to do minors in Event Management in Bali, Indonesia and Bangkok, Thailand.
Going to festivals and theme parks, my interest in the leisure sector began to grow, which eventually resulted in my current love for the leisure industry, specifically looking at (music) events. Moreover, the storytelling aspects of theme parks such as Disney Land Paris and the Efteling have always taken my interest.
While first, and still, interested in science and biology, I decided that these socially isolated industries would not make me happy in the long term. Being able to work and socialize with people, especially from different cultures, giving visitors an experience they will not forget, and to ultimately make them happy, are the main goals I will strive for in my future (career).
